Welcome to Mekong Atlas (“Mekong Atlas”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an independent travel guide to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia published at dimoday.com. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
Mekong Atlas is an independent, self-funded travel guide written and maintained by Anh Nguyen. We publish transit-first guides — routes, fares, border rules and destination notes — for independent travellers. You can reach us any time at hello@dimoday.com.
2. What Mekong Atlas is — and is not
Mekong Atlas is an informational travel guide. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, booking platform or ticketing service. We do not sell passes, tickets, tours, accommodation or insurance, and we do not process bookings or payments on your behalf. Any purchase you make — a visa, a train ticket, a cruise, an entry pass — is a transaction between you and that provider or authority, not with us.
3. Travel information changes — always verify before you travel
Prices, timetables, visa rules, border-crossing procedures, opening hours and safety conditions across Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia change frequently and sometimes without notice. We check our information on the ground and date each page so you can see how fresh it is, but by the time you read a page, details may have changed.
You agree to treat everything on Mekong Atlas as a starting point, not a guarantee, and to confirm all critical details — especially visa requirements, entry fees, transport schedules and border rules — with the relevant official sources (government immigration portals, official ticket authorities, carriers) before you rely on them or make any booking. We are not responsible for decisions made, or costs incurred, on the basis of information that has since changed.
4. Not professional advice
Content on this site is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind — including immigration, legal, medical, health, safety, financial or insurance advice. For your specific circumstances, consult the appropriate qualified authority or professional (for example, the official immigration service of the country you are visiting, or a licensed medical or travel-insurance provider).
5. Editorial independence
We accept no sponsored posts, paid placements, press trips or affiliate pressure on our recommendations. Our trips are self-funded, and our opinions are our own. Where this ever changes for a specific piece of content, we will disclose it clearly on the page in question.

All original text, guides, itineraries, structure and design on Mekong Atlas are the property of Mekong Atlas and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to:
- read, bookmark and share links to our pages;
- quote a short extract for personal, non-commercial use, with clear credit and a link back to the original page.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- republish, copy, scrape or redistribute our content in whole or in substantial part;
- use our content to train, fine-tune or build automated or AI systems;
- present our content as your own or use it for commercial purposes.
Photography
Alongside our own material, this site uses Creative Commons-licensed photography from Wikimedia Commons. Those images remain the property of their respective authors and are credited with their licence on the page or in the footer, as the licence requires. If you wish to reuse a Creative Commons image, you must comply with that image’s own licence — not these Terms.
7. Third-party links
Our guides link to third-party websites — official government portals, ticket authorities, carriers and similar — for your convenience. We do not control these sites, are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices, and their inclusion is not an endorsement. Accessing any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
8. Corrections and messages you send us
If you tell us about an out-of-date price, timetable or border rule, or send any other message or correction, you grant us permission to use that information to update and improve the site. Please send only information you are free to share; do not send confidential material. Verified corrections are usually published within a week and credited if you wish.
9. Acceptable use
You agree to use this site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt, damage, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, nor to use automated tools to harvest or copy its content in breach of Section 6.

Mekong Atlas is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep our guides accurate and current, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, that the content is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted or error-free. 11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mekong Atlas and Anh Nguyen shall not be liable for any loss, cost, delay, missed connection, denied entry, or direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this site, or your reliance on any information published here. You are responsible for your own travel decisions.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect. Your continued use of the site after any change means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
