Who we are. Mekong Atlas (“we”) publishes travel guides at this website. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit, and the choices you have. Contact for all privacy matters: hello@dimoday.com.
Data we process. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, retained for up to 30 days.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and sends Google your IP address, browser and device details and the pages you view; Google processes this as described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can block it with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising & cookies. This site is intended to display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to measure ad performance and to prevent fraud. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Consent. No advertising is being served on this site yet. Before any advertising cookie is set for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent tool will be in place and this policy updated to describe it.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection), the California CCPA/CPRA (including “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”), Japan’s APPI, and Singapore’s PDPA. To exercise any of these, email hello@dimoday.com with the subject “Privacy”; we respond within the statutory deadline. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Third-party links & embeds. Pages embed Google Maps and load fonts from Google Fonts and images from Wikimedia Commons; these providers process your IP address when content is loaded. Their own privacy policies apply.
Children. This site is a general-audience travel publication and is not directed at children under 16. We knowingly collect no data from children.
Changes. We will post any material change to this policy on this page with a new “last updated” date.
